Happy Feet

You know what fills me with glee and happiness? Awesome socks. Awesome socks that FIT my giantess feet. Most men's socks (99% of ladies socks don't fit me) are not awesome socks and therefore my sock glee and happiness is often rather limited.

I suspect that my mom got sick of hearing me moan and groan about how terrible it was to have giant feet and no cool socks and she decided to do something about it! I am up to four, yes FOUR, lovely pairs of hand-knit-by-mom socks. I smile every time I put them on!

Thanks Mom!

P.S. You're probably wondering why I don't just knit myself some awesome socks. One of my deep dark secrets is that I do not yet know HOW to knit. I guess a girl can't know how to do everything, can she?

Those are so pretty and they look so warm! Your mom is great will she adopt me?

I would love to learn to knit socks. I am just now learning to crochet and that is just dish cloths for now.

Those are darling! Wow, I was just thinking sock knitting must be a dying art, and there you go proving me wrong again!

And you can make cheese so I think you are excused from knitting.

The socks are awesome. I do have to say that I am shocked that you of all people don't know how to knit. I'm glad to know you aren't perfect.

I am so envious! They're great socks. If your mum ever fancies knitting more they'll be welcome here!

Wow. That takes time and patience. I have no patience for knitting. I'd rather jab myself with those needles than knit with them. Your Mom rocks.

I can't imagine the skill it would take to knit a pair of socks - let alone the type of socks that you have received. They look incredibly intricate! What a wonderful gift your mother has! and you, too! :)
