Friday Fragments- January 29, 2010

Ahoy dear friends! It's finally Friday!

I got my bike back last weekend. When we picked it up they said "Here's your half new bike!" Most of the front end had been replaced. It's nice to have the freedom to get around easily again.

My therapist is moving on to bigger and better things at the beginning of March. I'm kinda bummed, but I feel okay about it. So, I suspect that means there's been some progress made!

I made a hilarious sock monkey a little while ago. He's a kabouter aapje (gnome monkey). I'm still laughing about it.

Kabouter Aapje

I have a confession. I suck at blog awards. It's not that I don't appreciate them, it's just that I suck at them. I'm trying to do better! I'll be posting about the two I got recently very soonly.

I made peanut butter cups this week. They were delicious and I shall be making a post about them next week.

If you'd like to participate in the weekly fragmented fun, go visit Mrs 4444 at Half Past Kissin Time!

Can you make peanut butter eggs, too? They are my absolute favorite and it seems like Reese's gets them out a bit earlier every year. Yum!!

I mentioned you in my FF post today. Have a great weekend with your bike!

That gnome monkey is awesome. Totally awesome.

I can't believe you made peanut butter cups. I need to live near you. You rock. :)

Martin said he will come by for those peanut butter cups... hehehe. We used to make them as they are fairly easy but then got out of the habit.

Love your kabouter aapje!

Glad you got your bike back!

Ummm peanut butter cups.. MMM I want some. I should make some for Marcel, but I know I would be far too tempted.

I don't do the bloggy awards - I thank the person and that's about it. I'm with you, I appreciate the thought but I don't want to do whatever it is I'm asked to do to accept and pass on the award.

Congrats on being OK with the fact that your therapist is moving on. That's a big deal.

That first comment about peanut butter eggs- my first thought was back to your herbed baked egg post, and I was thinking 'peanut butter eggs! OMG!'... and then I realized it was referring to an Easter candy treat, not some hybrid peanut butter omlette.

I want a gnome monkey! That is so cool!

I would buy your "kabouter" if you had one to sell. Funny that it is not chubby like the traditional ones... Hey, delish things here lately !! I am following you thought novt always I find the discipline to post comments.

I am looking forward to your post on making peanut butter cups.

What an adorable monkey. He would make me smile too! I agree with the other commenters, you should open an etsy shop!

You just had to say peanut butter cup, didn't you?!

Do you have an Etsy shop for your monkeys? Some day, I would like to buy one :)

Leaving or changing therapists is a stressful transition sometimes. If you're not stressed, that's probably a good sign :)
