R is for Ric Rac

Ric Rac Attack

I love ric rac. I can't help but smile when I see it used on things. In fact, I think there are very few things that can't be improved upon by the application of a little bit of ric rac!

You can twist it together for a different, but still awesome, look.

Or just use it to embellish!

Even sock monkeys like ric rac.

Are you a ric rac lover too?

I love ric rac also. It brings back memories of my child hood. My mother would make my sister and I dresses and it seems she would always find a reason to add ric rac.

I am! I especially like when ric rac adds a vintage look. It's hard to find here. Great idea and fun post.

I never knew you could do that with ric rac. OK, I have to figure that out because it looks so cool!

I have always loved ric rac and if I could find a way to make it not curl up after it is washed I would be so happy. When I sew clothes for my Grands I used to put a lot of trim on them but their Mom doesn't iron so it always just looks messy!

This sweet, little stop on my journey through Alphabe-Thursday's Letter "R" just made me smile!

You are really neat Kim!

A+

I've loved ric rac since childhood. I've used it in my classroom for art projects, on sewing projects, and numerous other projects through the years. I've even made paper ric rac to use on scrapbook pages.

This is cute. You're so talented! Where I come from, we call it bric-a-brack. Funny.

This post is making me wish I were more crafty. Just so I would have an excuse to fill a drawer with this stuff. (Thank you for encouraging my pack-rat tendencies. My husband appreciates it!)
And thanks for stopping by today!
