This little fellow is really similar to Day 5's very pink monkey, just not pink!

Month of Monkeys: Day 6

As I was sewing this monkey together I wasn't really in love with it. That might be because sewing black on black is hard to see and it was making me have a headache but it was just turning out a little SAD. I mean black with gray hearts?? So when I finished sewing on the limbs and face I thought I could embroider a colored heart to spiff things up. Then I added some nice fun bright buttons for eyes and a smile and I think it turned out rather okay.

One thing about living here in The Netherlands is that I totally blank on holidays like the 4th because I never actually celebrate it ON the day. So if I'd realized I would've made an awesome patriotic monkey. I didn't realize though, so I will have to save my patriotism for another day. Today we have Mr Red Argyle.

Can't go wrong with argyle! Martijn thought he looked a little like a chocolate monkey so I introduce you to Mr Chocolate Argyle Monkey.

Monkey number 2! I used really fuzzy knee socks for this one. I can't find them anymore but I think they're awesome.
